Hi, my name is Dave Clifford. I’m a Certified NRA Instructor, Glock Certified Instructor, Glock Armorer, and formerly a commissioned Police Officer with six years experience. My experience prior to law enforcement was primarily with long guns; hunting and sport shooting. It was not until I became involved in law enforcement that I started handgun shooting. I found it challenging and exciting. I enjoyed the training I received as a cadet in the Academy and the In-Service Training an Officer receives to stay proficient in the use of the handgun. As a Police Officer, I took advantage of every training opportunity I could to develop my skills, including being a Certified ASP Instructor and an Empty-Handed Tactics Instructor for the Department. Since leaving the police force, I have always kept my skills up to date and tried to learn every new technique about handgun shooting available.

I believe strongly in our Second Amendment right and support the citizen who decides to take advantage of that right. Whether you are selecting a handgun for sport or protection, you owe it to yourself and your family to get trained in the safe and proper use of being an armed citizen. Failing to train is training to fail.

My wife and I enjoy helping others develop their skills and want your training experience to be positive and beneficial. Our classes are designed to be friendly, fun, and hands on. Our small class sizes (10 people max.) give us an instructor-student ratio of 1 to 5. This creates an environment where people feel comfortable very quickly.

We are not gold medal shooters, nor do we compete in competitions. We do not believe we know it all and we learn new things every day. We do, however, have a lot of Practical, Fundamental, and Tactical Skills that we eagerly share with others. In addition, we are constantly evaluating new techniques and gear. We research and evaluate shooting incidents around the country, talk to other instructors, and design new shooting drills. In this way, we keep our curriculum fluid and are always adding the best ideas to our training.

Should you decide to train with us, I can promise you that we will provide you with a professional, hands-on experience taught at a great location in a private setting. Whether you are a new shooter taking the basic classes, a returning student, or an experienced shooter taking more advanced classes you will have a rewarding experience.
