Cliffords with Glock Instructor Dennis Tueller
In 2010, two additional certifications were added to the Reliance Arms list of accomplishments: Glock Certified Instructor and Glock Armorer. This 4-day combination course was taught by Ret. Sgt. Dennis Tueller, Salt Lake City, UT Police Department, author of the article, “How Close is Too Close” which appeared in SWAT magazine and highlighted the importance of keeping a reactionary gap, which is often referred to as the 21 Foot Rule.
Larry Vickers with Dave & Alisa
In 2011, the Vickers Tactical 1911 Operator course was added to the Reliance Arms instructors credentials in honor of the centennial of the iconic 1911 pistol. Taught by 20-year Delta Force veteran Larry Vickers, this training used specific skills and techniques unique to the 1911 pistol, along with an operator level troubleshooting/armorer class. Larry Vickers hosts the popular TV show TAC TV, which takes a hard look at the world of defensive firearms from a design, historical, and field use perspective.
